Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesper Knudsen (ranked 3564 p4p, 123 weight class) and Magnus Ii Karlson (ranked 4384 p4p, 152 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Magnus Ii Karlson! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karlson with a poor takedown and Knudsen counters with a series of strikes. Karlson will be more careful next time no doubt. Karlson tries to clinch there but Knudsen circles away.
As Karlson looks to move away, Knudsen throws a big counter combo but Karlson just gets out of the way. Karlson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Knudsen avoids it really well and circles away. Karlson clinches with his opponent.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knudsen wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Magnus Ii Karlson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Karlson gets a clinch. Knudsen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Karlson has him pressed against the cage. Karlson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Karlson throws a sloppy head kick and Knudsen moves out of range easily. Knudsen seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Karlson's coach down at GYM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Karlson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Karlson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Karlson shoots in and drives through. Knudsen sprawls well.
