Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bornas Lopette (ranked 2055 p4p, 266 weight class) and Jacks Sole (ranked 3185 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopette comes into the arena with Root Of All Evil blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
48 - 42 - 3, fighting out of New York, Bornas Lopette! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jacks Sole! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sole lands with a shot to the body. Sole throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lopette on the side of the head. Sole has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Sole thumps Lopette with a low kick. Lopette moves out of range as Sole throws a body kick.
Sole scores with a decent looking hook. Sole works Lopette's body with a nice hook. Lopette chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sole can pounce on him.
Sole closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lopette circles away. Sole fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lopette avoids it really well and circles away. Sole throws a body shot but no joy. Lopette on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lopette tries to keep at a distance but Sole has taken the fight into the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sole throws a head punch that misses. Lopette goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Sole lands with a right to the head. Sole breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sole scores with a hook to the body. Lopette takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Sole's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Sole duly obliges. Sole swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Lopette seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sole thuds his right hand into Lopette's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Lopette throws a chopping leg kick but Sole manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Bornas Lopette is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sole tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lopette manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sole scores with a nice body kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sole lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lopette has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lopette and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Sole checks a low kick from Lopette. Sole paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Lopette will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A telegraphed right hand from Sole misses the target. Lopette avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Sole looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Sole buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Lopette jabbing away but nothing is landing. Danga de danga de dang - Sole scores with a four punch combination! Lopette jabs at Sole's body. This has been an exciting period of action! Sole misses with a combination
and Lopette counters with a slapping leg kick. Sole scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Sole misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sole in side control, throwing shots but Lopette defends. Sole trying to control the action but Lopette is working from the bottom. Lopette avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sole. Sole misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sole creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Sole postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Sole in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Sole misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sole trying to control the action but Lopette is working from the bottom. Sole cracks Lopette with a big elbow. Sole fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Sloppy strikes there by Sole. You can see the frustration on Lopette's face as Sole controls the position. Lopette is not content to let Sole control the position. Sole throwing shots but missing, from side control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sole wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lopette, who protects the arm well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sole is looking to take a break and control but Lopette is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sole connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lopette some visible discomfort.
Sole slows the pace down. Lopette regains half guard, as Sole was trying to land strikes. Lopette avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sole. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jacks Sole dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lopette throws a hook but Sole avoids it easily. Sole moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Sole throws a big shot that misses. The fight moves into the clinch position. Sole makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Lopette misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sole scores with a shot to the side of Lopette's head. Sole lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lopette backwards. Sole swings away with an uppercut that misses.

You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sole. Sole smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A jab from Lopette misses. Sole keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Lopette is rocked! Sole takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Oh Lopette is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sole tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lopette defends well and Sole ends up having to push Lopette into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Lopette seems to have got his legs back now. Lopette lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. A slapping leg kick lands for Sole.
Sole connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Good work by Sole as he checks the leg kick. Sole misses with a head kick.

Lopette has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sole. Sole ducks under a wild hook from Lopette. Sole works Lopette's body with a nice hook. Sole has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Sole swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Lopette throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Lopette takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Nice uppercut lands for Sole. That snapped Lopette's head back.

Lopette is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sole working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jacks Sole! As Jacks Sole got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: You've all been put on notice and if that doesn't place fear in your heart.....you don't know Jack!'. In defeat, Bornas Lopette stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'll Train Harder And Win My Next Fight Fans, Sorry For My Loss. '.
