Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roundhouse Luke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Reny!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reny is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Nick Reny has been cut.
Luke throws a right and a left that Reny avoids nicely.
Roundhouse Luke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Luke fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Luke backing away here, and Reny unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Reny showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Luke.
Luke looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Luke misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Reny lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Luke swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Reny counters with a head kick.
Reny closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Luke quickly recovers to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Reny decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Luke gets caught napping as Reny dives in and scores a takedown. Luke manages to retain guard.
Luke is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Reny dives into side control.
Luke manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Reny decides to stand up.
Luke throws a right and a left that both miss.
Reny slips a jab and a cross from Luke.
Luke scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Luke connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Luke lands a glancing blow to the side of Reny's head.
Luke tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Reny was well out of range. Poor timing from Luke.
Luke wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Luke scores with a crisp jab that stopped Reny in his tracks.
Luke scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
That has opened up Nick Reny's cut even more.

Reny on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Luke lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Reny sprawling to the canvas. Luke follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Reny hang on?

Luke is trying to control the action in half guard but Reny is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Luke stands up and beckons Reny to join him on the feet.
Luke throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Luke misses with a few strikes there.
Luke lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The cut above Nick Reny's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Reny takes one to the side of the head.
Luke connects with a right hand. Reny shakes it off.
Luke throws a monster overhand right that drops Reny! Luke follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roundhouse Luke!
