Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tim Shamrock (ranked 6030 p4p, 504 weight class) and Sveti Georgi (ranked 5897 p4p, 498 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Georgi shoots in but Shamrock avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Shamrock is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Georgi can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Shamrock tries to clinch there but Georgi circles away.

Shamrock was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Georgi can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Shamrock lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Shamrock stands up over Georgi, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Georgi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Georgi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Georgi turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Shamrock off and cradles Georgi's limp body as Shamrock celebrates with his corner.
