The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Remao moves into the clinch successfully.
Remao is trying to pull guard but Aquila has him pressed against the ropes.
Remao tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Remao wants to take the fight to the mat but Aquila manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Snorri Aquila has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikhil Remao.
Aquila misses with a hook from the clinch.

Aquila pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Remao forces Aquila back against the ropes and clinches.
Aquila prevents Remao from breaking the clinch.
Aquila changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Remao fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Remao goes for a double leg but Aquila avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Aquila continues to drive forward.
