Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hal Robson Kanu!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petiot throws a low kick but Robson Kanu avoids it.
No joy there for Robson Kanu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Petiot half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Petiot won't let Robson Kanu get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Petiot has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Petiot might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Robson Kanu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Petiot. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Petiot shoots in looking for a takedown. Robson Kanu tries to sprawl out of it but Petiot keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Robson Kanu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Petiot's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Robson Kanu is sitting in close to Petiot's body. Petiot has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Robson Kanu is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Robson Kanu is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Petiot.
