Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spencer misses with a straight left.
Spencer slips under a jab from Vihervaara.
Spencer lands with a hook. Vihervaara tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Ville Vihervaara has been cut.
Vihervaara throws a shot from downtown. Spencer moves away and avoids it.
Vihervaara takes one to the side of the head.
Vihervaara shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Spencer but Spencer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Spencer let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Spencer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vihervaara.

and Spencer counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Vihervaara thinking.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Spencer is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Vihervaara is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Vihervaara has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Spencer is trying to keep Vihervaara in close.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Vihervaara looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Spencer is fending him off so far but Vihervaara persists. Nope, Spencer circles away and we're back to standing.
A little jabbing left from Spencer on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Spencer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vihervaara manages to avoid it.
Vihervaara moves forwards but Spencer connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Spencer uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Vihervaara takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ville Vihervaara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dave Spencer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Spencer stuffs the takedown attempt from Vihervaara. Vihervaara gets slowly back to his feet.

The fighters circle momentarily. Spencer darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Spencer counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Vihervaara! He's just covering up as Spencer starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
