Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by The Beatles - Get Back. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Davis! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis blocks a leg kick. Davis checks the leg kick nicely there.
Davis staying out of range there. Some bone on bone action there as Davis checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Davis scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Jackson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Davis is stalling here. Jackson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Davis seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Jackson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Davis manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jackson's best efforts. Davis is trying to get back to full guard. Davis is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Davis makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Davis. Davis looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jackson wants to get up but he can't break Davis's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jackson thows a body shot but no joy. Davis looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Davis not landing any meaningful shots this time. Davis is looking to advance position but Jackson won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis is working for a submission of some sort.
Jackson wants to get back to his feet. Jackson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Davis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jackson's head. Jackson has one foot on Davis's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Davis feints and as Jackson raises his hands in defense, Davis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Davis prevents Jackson from getting back to his feet. Davis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jackson has his feet on Davis's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A shot to de liver by Davis. Beautiful body shot. Jackson misses with a few strikes there.

Davis looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jackson! Jackson is trying to stand up. Jackson is breathing heavily. A nice elbow there by Davis. Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Davis lands a big elbow. Davis lands a big elbow. Jackson is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davis with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Davis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Davis punishing his opponent with strikes. Jackson is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Jackson somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! Jab from Davis. Dylan Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson misses with an uppercut. Davis looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jackson is trying to stand up here but Davis is controlling him well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Jackson waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Davis. Davis drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson taking punishment in the form of punches.
Jackson on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Davis landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Davis lands a nice forearm strike.

Davis content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Davis prevents Jackson from getting back to his feet. Davis passes Jackson's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Davis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jackson's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Davis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Dylan Jackson's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Jackson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Davis with a flurry of punches that miss. Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Davis is controlling him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jackson has momentary wrist control but Davis slips an elbow through the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jackson wants to stand up but Davis is controlling him. Jackson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Davis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jackson circles away. Davis keeps the fight on the outside. Dylan Jackson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A jab from Jackson misses. Jackson throws a nice looking combination but Davis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jackson lands with a cross. Jackson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Jackson tries to clinch up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Davis shoots in and drives through. Jackson sprawls well. Jackson fails to land with a series of punches.
Jackson is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Jackson's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Jackson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Jackson tries to bum rush Davis with a series of wild strikes but Davis uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Davis moves out of range of the leg kick from Jackson. Davis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Dylan Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Davis. Jackson chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Jackson is looking to clinch. Davis circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jackson's corner calls for a 1-2. Jackson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Jackson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dylan Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A combination from Jackson does no damage. Davis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jackson moves away.

Tony Davis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Davis misses with a takedown attempt - Jackson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jackson swinging wilding here.

Davis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jackson defends it well. Jackson is trying to stand.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dylan Jackson. I think Davis has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
