Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Furioto (ranked 3140 p4p, 326 weight class) and Digi Box (ranked 3149 p4p, 328 weight class). Furioto comes to the cage accompanied by N5 from outer space. Maximus Furioto has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Furioto throws a low kick but it's checked well by Box.
Box lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Furioto slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Furioto sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Box's guard.
Box is in trouble now - Furioto has advanced to mount!

Furioto goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Box is on top in guard.

After the fight, Digi Box was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
