Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Can Crusher (ranked 2128 p4p, 130 weight class) and Bernie Sanders (ranked 814 p4p, 48 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Bernie Sanders enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Can Crusher!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bernie Sanders!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders swings and misses with a hook to the body.
As Sanders tries to get set, Crusher tries to push him back and clinch up but Sanders manages to avoid the attempt.

Sanders changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Crusher looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Sanders tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sanders has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sanders working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

That was a close round but Can Crusher did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Crusher takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Sanders closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sanders throws an elbow but Crusher slips to the side and avoids it well.
Crusher tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sanders wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Sanders has hold of Crusher's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Crusher tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Sanders cranks the arm and Crusher screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Crusher, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 4, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Bernie Sanders! Bernie Sanders retains his bantamweight title!
