Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Roberts and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Thomas to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Thomas postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Hardin is rocked!
Thomas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hardin is still in real trouble! Can Thomas finish him?
Thomas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Thomas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hardin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hardin is looking to control Thomas's arms but Thomas gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hardin has his back to the cage.
Hardin misses with an elbow over the top.

Thomas has momentary wrist control but Hardin slips an elbow through the middle.
Hardin with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Hardin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Thomas works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Hardin makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hardin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hardin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Thomas's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
