Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Takeya Aoki (ranked 2873 p4p, 157 weight class) and David Morrison Jr. (ranked 1689 p4p, 104 weight class). Aoki's entrance music is Baka Survivor. A fine choice. Morrison Jr. is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Face The Pain. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 6 losses; Takeya Aoki! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 25 wins and 9 losses; David Morrison Jr.! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Morrison Jr. gets the takedown into side control. Aoki might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Morrison Jr. looking to pass the guard. Aoki isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Morrison Jr. stacks Aoki on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. A relieved looking David Morrison Jr. thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
