Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Clausey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Barracuda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thomas Clausey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Barracuda!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clausey avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Clausey shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barracuda pinned against the cage. Barracuda gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Barracuda lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Clausey circles away quickly and effectively.
Clausey tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Barracuda counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Clausey tries to roll over but Barracuda keeps him under control.
Clausey trying to control but Barracuda postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barracuda stands up and beckons Clausey to join him on the feet.
Clausey keeps the fight on the outside.
Barracuda looks to land a combination. Clausey sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barracuda throws a series of punches but Clausey moves out of range.
Barracuda closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Clausey wants to improve his position but Barracuda is controlling well.

Clausey throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
It looks like Barracuda is going to stand back up.

Clausey is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Clausey has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Barracuda escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Barracuda!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Barracuda stands up and beckons Clausey to his feet.
A left and a right from Barracuda both land. Nice combination.
Barracuda lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Barracuda.
Clausey misses with a takedown
and Barracuda counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Barracuda passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Clausey!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Barracuda is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Clausey can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Barracuda looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Clausey shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Barracuda counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Clausey is wriggling around but Barracuda manages to pass to half guard.
Barracuda uses his free foot to push down on Clausey's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Clausey.
Barracuda takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Clausey is desperately trying to improve his position but Barracuda has a good base and remains in mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barracuda is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Clausey can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Clausey has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Barracuda is proving hard to escape from.
Clausey postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Barracuda is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Clausey, into his guard.
Clausey is looking for a triangle but Barracuda pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The Barracuda showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Clausey's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Clausey. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Clausey is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Clausey is striking well from the back but Barracuda escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.

The Barracuda is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Barracuda has his hands on Clausey's head, controlling the position.

The Barracuda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Barracuda has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
