0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Quang Le! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Song manages to pull guard.
Song pulls Le in close to prevent any damage. Le must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Song tries to land a sweep but no joy. Song is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Le wants to get back to his feet. Song not landing any meaningful shots this time. Song missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Le keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Song moves into full mount! Le won't be happy about that! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Le is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Song is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Le really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Song. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Le wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Song.
The referee warns Le that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Song has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Le takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Song's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sung Song! After the fight, Sung Song was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
