The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wonder thuds a left hand into Lamotta's body.
Wonder wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lamotta misses with a hook
and Wonder counters with a nice right hand that sends Lamotta toppling to the canvas! Lamotta scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Wonder finish him?!
It looks like Hilbert Lamotta has been cut.
Wonder ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lamotta looks winded!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
