Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tud Stoddler (ranked 26 p4p, 4 weight class) and Ernest Graves (ranked 105 p4p, 13 weight class). Stoddler comes to the cage accompanied by Arcade Fire - Ready to Start. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tud Stoddler! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ernest Graves! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Graves misses with a wild body shot. Graves fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stoddler looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Graves fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stoddler manages to avoid it. Graves misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stoddler.
Graves digs a good body shot into Stoddler's ribs. Graves moves away from the strike by Stoddler. Graves throws a jab when Stoddler was well out of range. Graves uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Stoddler has time to react. Stoddler misses with a double jab.
Stoddler tries to keep at a distance but Graves has taken the fight into the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Stoddler fails to land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stoddler lands on the inside with an uppercut. Stoddler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ernest Graves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Graves fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Graves looks to score with a jab to the body but Stoddler is just out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. That's one minute gone in the round. Graves avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Graves wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Stoddler finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Graves is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stoddler sees it coming and defends easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Graves wants to pass the guard but Stoddler is defending well. Graves passes into side control, despite Stoddler's attempt to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Stoddler's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Graves working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Graves working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Graves working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Graves wants to control but Stoddler is keeping him busy. Graves tries to move to mount but Stoddler blocks the move with his legs. Stoddler is not content to let Graves control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stoddler tries to improve position but can't. Graves is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stoddler knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Stoddler struggling a bit here. Graves trying to control the action but Stoddler is working from the bottom. Graves working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Graves works to advance to full mount. Stoddler defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Graves trying to control but he's not successful this time. Stoddler wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Graves.
Stoddler tries to hold on but Graves postures up. Stoddler tries to reverse the position but Graves maintains control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Graves wants to take Stoddler's back here but Stoddler is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Ernest Graves dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Stoddler doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Graves scores with a hook to the body. Stoddler takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Graves thuds a left hand into Stoddler's body. Graves shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Graves showed some decent athleticism there. Stoddler is doing well to control the position and prevent Graves from advancing to side control. Graves wants to pass the guard but Stoddler is defending well. Graves is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Ernest Graves showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Ernest Graves's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Stoddler doesn't seem bothered though. Stoddler listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Graves throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. A shot to the liver by Graves. Beautiful body shot. Graves lands a jab to Stoddler's midsection. Graves throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Stoddler throws a sloppy head kick and Graves moves out of range easily. Graves clobbers Stoddler with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Graves connects with a body shot. Oooooh!!! Stoddler has knocked Graves down with a huge combo! Stoddler steps away and waves a wobbly Graves back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Graves is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Graves tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stoddler was well out of range. Poor timing from Graves. Graves is still on wobbly legs! Can Stoddler finish him? Graves steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stoddler. Ernest Graves seems to be getting the better of the standup. Stoddler circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stoddler throws an uppercut from hell that sends Graves clean off his feet! He's out cold! Stoddler stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tud Stoddler! Tud Stoddler retains his lightweight title! Tud Stoddler spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
