Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Jai White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Tua!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tua wants to counter the offense by White and move into the clinch position.
No joy there for Tua, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Good shot there by White.
White lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Tua throws a right hand that White ducks under and follows up with a left that White also avoids with ease.
Tua has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from White finds it's way round the side to connect with Tua's head.
Tua drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The fighters circle momentarily. White darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
White throws a good cross that connects.

White looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
White throws a lazy right hand but Tua sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
White connects with a body shot that sends Tua's belly button to the back.

Tua takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
White swings for the body but Tua moves out of range.

Tua drops his hands momentarily and White takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
White looks to score with a jab to the body but Tua is just out of range.
White lands with a hook. Tua tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Tua has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

White steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tua.
It looked like White wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
White lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Tua at a distance.

Tua tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. White manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Tua's hands are dropping dangerously low here and White connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tua scrambles back to his feet.

White lands a right and a left and another right! Tua goes down! Oh, he's in big, big trouble! 3,4,5,6,7,8... he's up to one knee... 9,10! He can't beat the count - this one is all over!
