Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Neil Diaz (ranked 2034 p4p, 50 weight class) and Rob Ford (ranked 3279 p4p, 80 weight class). Neil Diaz could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rob Ford's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Neil Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rob Ford! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz avoids a punch combination nicely.
As Ford looks to move away, Diaz throws a big counter combo but Ford just gets out of the way. Ford uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Diaz.
Ford throws a counter combo. Ford lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diaz circles away quickly and effectively. Diaz appears to be looking for a big counter. Ford tries to clinch up and Diaz counters with a left to the body. Diaz misses with a low kick.
It seemed like Ford was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Ford tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Diaz paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ford swings and misses with a shot to the body and Diaz counters with a nice body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz lands a nice looking body kick. Diaz gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ford tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Diaz paws at him with a jab and circles away. Diaz scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Rob Ford has been cut. Ford looks to land a left hand but Diaz moved out of range nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz staying out of range there. Diaz throws a series of punches but Ford moves out of range. Ford misses with a hook. Ford takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

and Diaz counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Diaz fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ford has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Diaz is looking to land body kicks. Ford throws an off balance right hand
and Diaz counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Ford to the mat! Diaz runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Ford is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!
Ford is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ford swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ford lands a nice hook to Diaz's body. Diaz takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Diaz moves out of range as Ford strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ford closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Diaz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ford throws a chopping leg kick but Diaz manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Ford connects with a crisp jab. Ford misses with a wild combination.
Diaz seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Nice uppercut lands for Ford. That snapped Diaz's head back.
Diaz connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Ford onto his butt! Ford bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action. Ford showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Diaz.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ford avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Diaz takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
No joy there for Diaz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Neil Diaz takes that one as he scored multiple knockdowns. Rob Ford was lucky to get out of the first round. The cut man is working on Rob Ford's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ford loads up on a big right hand but Diaz slips the punch. A head kick from Ford lands but Diaz takes it in his stride. Diaz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ford cracks the inside of Diaz's front leg. Ford scores with the left hand. Diaz knows he should have avoided that one. Ford throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ford takes a swing at Diaz's ribcage but misses. Diaz appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Diaz throws a jab when Ford was well out of range. Diaz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Diaz tries a head kick but it misses.
Neil Diaz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz throws a head kick that Ford semi-blocks.
Diaz tries to bum rush Ford with a series of wild strikes but Ford uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ford swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Diaz is rocked! Ford knocks out Diaz with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Ford before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Ford picks up the big W with a huge KO!
