Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alec Burns (ranked 3400 p4p, 303 weight class) and Rory Rothstein (ranked 4252 p4p, 353 weight class). Burns's entrance music is Alberto Del Rio theme song. A fine choice. The key to victory for Alec Burns has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alec Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rory Rothstein! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burns throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rothstein on the side of the head. Burns misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Burns.
Rothstein changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Burns looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Rothstein is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Burns has escaped the position, nice work there. Burns is trying to buck Rothstein off. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Burns trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Rothstein is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Burns has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rothstein is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Burns is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Rothstein wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Burns, who protects the arm well. Burns pushes Rothstein away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rothstein gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Rothstein is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Rothstein is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Burns knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Rothstein looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Rothstein tries for a kimura but Burns is defending well. Burns is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Rothstein is controlling him well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rothstein tries for a kimura but Burns is defending well. Burns throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Rothstein shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Burns as he jumps to the side. Rothstein dodges the punch combination from Burns.
Burns takes a swing at Rothstein's ribcage but misses. Burns lands a brutal head kick. Rothstein looks out on his feet and Burns throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
