Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Francey Johnny (ranked 5745 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philip Darly (ranked 4709 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Francey Johnny!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Philip Darly!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnny fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Johnny throws a series of punches but Darly moves out of range.
Johnny walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Darly throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Johnny is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Darly shoots in looking for a takedown. Johnny tries to sprawl out of it but Darly keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Johnny manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Darly throws a hook but Johnny blocks it.
Johnny misses with a two punch combination.
Johnny tries to close the distance and clinch but Darly swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Darly doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Johnny connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Johnny could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Darly misses with a few strikes there.
Johnny is looking for a counter combo.
Johnny rushes Darly and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Darly fails to pull guard.
Francey Johnny has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Philip Darly.
Johnny lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Darly is looking for a sweep. Johnny is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Darly desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Darly gets back to full guard.
Darly working for a triangle but Johnny defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnny is looking to stand up but Darly won't let him.
Johnny knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Darly on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Darly looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Johnny is defending well. Darly quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Johnny has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Darly celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
