Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Sanngriðr Koningh (ranked 6479 p4p, 143 weight class) and Duke Nukem (ranked 1835 p4p, 79 weight class). Nukem has chosen Here comes the boom as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sanngriðr Koningh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 42 - 30 - 2, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Duke Nukem!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nukem ducks under a wild hook from Koningh.
Duke Nukem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koningh waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nukem.
Nukem lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Nukem misses with the combination.
Koningh darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

and Koningh counters with a nice body kick.
We've been informed that Nukem has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Nukem avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Koningh lands with a cross.
Koningh lands a leg kick that knocks Nukem off balance momentarily.
Koningh missing with a left hand there. Nukem was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Koningh dips to his left and cracks Nukem with an uppercut!
A solid leg kick lands there for Koningh.

Koningh lands a head kick that bluckles Nukem and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Koningh no doubt looking to push for a finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Koningh lands with a shot to the body.
Koningh connects with a quick right hand that sends Nukem tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Sanngriðr Koningh!
A relieved looking Sanngriðr Koningh thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
