The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fornis tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Madani defends well and Fornis ends up having to push Madani into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Madani dives in and scores a takedown into Fornis's guard.
Madani looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Fornis working for submissions but it's allowed Madani to get to half guard.
Madani should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fornis looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fornis is defending against the submission attempts here by Madani.

Madani decides to stand up.
Fornis shoots for a double leg takedown but Madani sprawls well. He's pushed Fornis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
And Madani tries to counter it with a takedown but Fornis pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Fornis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Madani's guard.
Fornis wants to control from the top but Madani keeps moving.
Fornis is breathing heavily.

Madani is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Fornis rolls with it to try and escape but Madani cranks on the arm and Fornis is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
