Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hideki Matsui (ranked 24274 p4p, 551 weight class) and Jotaro Star Platinum (ranked 3566 p4p, 387 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jotaro Star Platinum was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jotaro Star Platinum!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Star Platinum throws a nice looking combination but Matsui bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Matsui feinted with a counter takedown.
Star Platinum lands a left and a right that send Matsui crashing to the mat, dazed. Star Platinum thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Matsui is rocked!
It looks like Hideki Matsui has been cut.
Star Platinum has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Matsui is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Star Platinum misses with a series of wild punches.
Oh Matsui is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Matsui tries to score a power double leg takedown but Star Platinum sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Matsui somewhat.
Matsui loses concentration momentarily and Star Platinum pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Matsui crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Star Platinum finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jotaro Star Platinum!
