Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brett Biliken (ranked 5479 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jock Weisley (ranked 6216 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brett Biliken!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jock Weisley!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Francis DeMontford and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biliken misses the jab.
Weisley fails with a takedown attempt.
Weisley throws a nice outside leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Weisley is looking to clinch but Biliken is avoiding it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Weisley shoots in but no luck this time.
Weisley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Biliken pinned against the cage. Biliken gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Brett Biliken has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jock Weisley.
Weisley fails with a takedown attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Biliken stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Biliken wants it to stay on the feet.
Biliken tries to counter with a takedown but Weisley is quick to defend against it.
Weisley slips under a jab.
Weisley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Biliken but Biliken pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Biliken throws a hook but Weisley blocks it.
Weisley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Biliken sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Weisley somewhat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Biliken throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Weisley tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Biliken is in Weisley's guard.
Biliken passes into half guard.
Biliken is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Biliken is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Weisley looks like he's trying to stand up.
Weisley wants to control but Biliken passes into side.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Biliken tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Biliken working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Biliken controls the position from side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brett Biliken dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Weisley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Biliken feinted with a counter takedown.

Biliken gets the takedown into side control.

Biliken tries for a kimura but Weisley is defending well.
Weisley tries to improve position but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Biliken tries for a kimura but Weisley is defending well.
Biliken staying calm.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Weisley is trying to work for a sweep but Biliken has mounted him!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Biliken takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Biliken could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Weisley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Biliken. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Weisley tries to improve his position but Biliken has taken his back! Biliken has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Weisley tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Biliken pushes Weisley away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Brett Biliken!
Our winner, Brett Biliken, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
