Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Clarke (ranked 3022 p4p, 121 weight class) and Max Svennerud (ranked 4629 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Clarke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Svennerud! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clarke misses with a double jab
and Svennerud counters by moving into the clinch. Svennerud breaks the clinch.
Svennerud scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Svennerud stands up. Clarke gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Clarke has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Svennerud has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Clarke has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Svennerud after a bit of a struggle. Svennerud lands a body shot in the clinch.
Svennerud escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Clarke lands a high kick!
That's one minute gone in the round. Clarke has his takedown stuffed and Svennerud makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Clarke is breathing heavily. Svennerud slaps away a takedown attempt from Clarke, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Clarke. That's going to take a lot out of him. Svennerud connects with a leg kick. Clarke looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Clarke with a poor takedown and Svennerud counters by clinching up. Svennerud has picked Clarke up - he's going for a ride! Svennerud dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Svennerud prevents Clarke from improving his position. Svennerud wants to pass the guard but Clarke is defending well. Svennerud is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Clarke is just riding it out for now. Svennerud eventually gives up the hold. Svennerud is looking to advance position but Clarke won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Svennerud is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Clarke avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Svennerud. Clarke is trying to maintain the position but Svennerud is very close to passing his half guard. Svennerud stalling. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Svennerud seems to be looking for submissions.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Svennerud shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Clarke manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Clarke really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Svennerud keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Clarke's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Svennerud dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Clarke is trying to break the clinch but Svennerud is controlling him. Clarke has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Svennerud avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Clarke is trying to pull guard but Svennerud has him pressed against the cage. Svennerud drags the fight down to the ground.
Svennerud is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Svennerud has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Clarke has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Svennerud lands a right hand that snaps the head of Clarke backwards.
It looks like Jack Clarke has been cut. Svennerud has picked Clarke up - he's going for a ride! Svennerud dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Svennerud wants to pass the guard but Clarke is defending well. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Clarke is trying to get back to full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Svennerud is looking for a kimura but Clarke is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Svennerud to get the leverage. Svennerud wants to pass the guard but Clarke is defending well. Svennerud not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Svennerud performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Nice strikes from Svennerud there. Svennerud is controlling the pace.
Clarke moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Svennerud gets to his feet - Clarke follows without any prompting.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Svennerud looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Svennerud controlling from the top position. Max Svennerud has got the better of the ground game so far. Svennerud throws a big elbow that misses. Svennerud with a flurry of punches that miss. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Svennerud decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Svennerud misses with the combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Svennerud gets the takedown into side control. Svennerud just content to control the position. Svennerud connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Clarke some visible discomfort.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Clarke prevents Svennerud from moving into mount. Svennerud remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Svennerud showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jack Clarke's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Svennerud has his hands on Clarke's head, controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Svennerud tries to land a sweep but no joy. Clarke got a little sloppy there for a moment and Svennerud has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Clarke has managed to get both his arms back between Svennerud's legs - danger averted. Clarke will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Svennerud is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Clarke defends well. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Clarke scoring with some ground and pound.

Svennerud really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clarke. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Clarke looking to control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Clarke working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Svennerud. Svennerud in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Svennerud shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Svennerud was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Clarke seems a little lost for a moment, as Svennerud dominates the positioning. Clarke tries to get back to half guard but can't. Svennerud decides to stand back up. Svennerud clinches up against the cage. Svennerud escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Svennerud fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Clarke to the ground. Svennerud is now in Clarke's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Svennerud stays in close to Clarke's body and controls the position. Svennerud pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Clarke is keeping the position for now. Svennerud's corner is telling him to maintain position. Clarke is working an open guard so Svennerud takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Svennerud takes the fight into the clinch. Jack Clarke has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Max Svennerud is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Svennerud successfully pulls guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Max Svennerud comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Svennerud has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
