Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lightning Fury!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elo Veena!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veena connects with a nice looking jab.
Fury looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Veena cracks Fury with a good jab.
A punch lands to the side of Fury 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Fury tries to close the distance and clinch but Veena swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fury moves into the clinch.
Fury ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fury no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Veena has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Fury to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Veena is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Fury pulls down on the head and he's put Veena to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Lightning Fury!
