Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Raheem (ranked 6558 p4p, 542 weight class) and Joshua Madison (ranked 5990 p4p, 522 weight class). Madison is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Nipsey Hussle - Victory Lap. Abdul Raheem has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Abdul Raheem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joshua Madison!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madison closes the distance and clinches up with Raheem, looking for a takedown. Madison pushes Raheem against the cage but Raheem circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
As Madison looks to move away, Raheem throws a big counter combo but Madison just gets out of the way.
Raheem throws a hook to the side of Madison's head but Madison sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Madison takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Madison slips a jab and a cross from Raheem.

Madison gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Raheem looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Madison keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Raheem's efforts to push away.
Raheem tries to circle away but Madison has him pinned against the cage.
Madison is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Raheem to keep the fight standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Raheem stops a takedown attempt from Madison.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Raheem stands up from Madison's guard - Raheem perhaps looking for a knockout.

Madison changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Madison shoots in and gets a takedown into Raheem's guard.
Madison seems to have recovered his senses.
Madison is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Raheem is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Madison is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Madison loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Madison has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Raheem is proving hard to escape from.

Madison passes Raheem's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Raheem won't allow Madison to pass to mount.
Madison is taking a breather. Raheem says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Madison stops Raheem from getting back to his feet.
Madison looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Madison missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Raheem knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Madison on the ground.

Madison looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Raheem is trying to stand.

Raheem has one foot on Madison's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Raheem scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Raheem throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Raheem scores with a punch to the head.
Raheem throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Madison.
Raheem rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Madison moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Madison closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A bit of stalling here from Madison.

Madison's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Madison has Raheem up against the cage in a clinch.
Raheem is looking to break free of the clinch but Madison has double underhooks.
Madison is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Madison is trying to pull guard but Raheem turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

We've been informed that Madison has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Raheem cracks Madison with a hook to the temple - Madison is on wobbly legs here! Raheem swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Madison falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Raheem wins by TKO!
