Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Chaos (ranked 5847 p4p, 517 weight class) and Nick Dormmamu (ranked 24686 p4p, 594 weight class). Robert Chaos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Chaos ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Dormmamu! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dormmamu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dormmamu sizes up Chaos with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Chaos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dormmamu as he jumps to the side. Dormmamu shoots in for a takedown but Chaos shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Dormmamu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chaos but Chaos pushes him off and we're back to square one. Chaos definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Dormmamu looks to throw a body kick and Chaos counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Dormmamu won't allow Chaos to pass to mount. Dormmamu tries to get to full guard but Chaos has control of the leg. Chaos content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Dormmamu avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Chaos .
That's one minute gone in the round. Dormmamu is trying to get back to full guard. Well, if Chaos is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Chaos seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dormmamu for as long as he can get away with. Dormmamu wants to control the action here but instead Chaos manages to pass to full mount! Chaos scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Dormmamu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chaos . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chaos is landing with some decent strikes but Dormmamu is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Chaos raining down hammerfists from mount. Chaos controlling the position easily from mount. Chaos lands a big elbow. Chaos controlling from mount. Dormmamu is working to get back to half guard.
Chaos lands with some strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chaos controlling the pace for now. Dormmamu really wants to buck Chaos off and get back to his feet. Chaos with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Chaos takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Dormmamu suckers Chaos into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Dormmamu is now in Chaos 's guard!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chaos trying to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dormmamu trying to control the position from guard on top but Chaos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dormmamu stopping the sweep attempt from Chaos . Chaos had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dormmamu defends it easily. Chaos working for a triangle but Dormmamu defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Chaos dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Chaos enables Dormmamu to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chaos manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Chaos is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Dormmamu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Chaos is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dormmamu can do to turn this around? Chaos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dormmamu. Dormmamu drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Chaos defends it well. Dormmamu throws a series of strikes that have Chaos backpedaling.
Chaos tries to work over Dormmamu's front leg with a kick but Dormmamu checks it. Dormmamu is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chaos keeps the fight on the outside. Chaos fails with the takedown. Chaos sets himself, and Dormmamu steps forward looking for the clinch! Chaos avoids it this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chaos closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dormmamu's guard. Chaos is looking to stand up but Dormmamu won't let him. Chaos postures up.
Dormmamu wants to stand up but Chaos is controlling him. Dormmamu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Robert Chaos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dormmamu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chaos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dormmamu is breathing heavily. Chaos controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chaos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dormmamu swivels though and keeps the full guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Chaos forces his way into half guard. Chaos is working for a kimura but Dormmamu is defending it quite comfortably.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Chaos in particular looking to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chaos passes to side control. Dormmamu tries to strike but it doesn't land. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Chaos decides to take the fight back to the feet. Chaos shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Dormmamu stuffs the takedown attempt from Chaos . Chaos gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Chaos . That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chaos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Dormmamu moves into the clinch. Dormmamu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dormmamu fails in his attempt to clinch. Dormmamu rushes Chaos and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dormmamu wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Dormmamu using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Chaos has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chaos 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Chaos throws a body punch but Dormmamu moves out of range. Dormmamu fails to land with a series of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Robert Chaos will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Chaos throws a series of punches but Dormmamu avoids them all with ease. Dormmamu changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Chaos moves in looking to clinch but Dormmamu pushes him off. Chaos avoids the body shot from Dormmamu.
Chaos fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dormmamu sprawls well initially but Chaos persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Dormmamu avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Chaos . Chaos content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Chaos landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chaos controlling the pace. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Chaos lands a nice short elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chaos is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Chaos lands with a punch from half guard. Chaos content to control rather than advance. Chaos seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Dormmamu makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dormmamu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Chaos looking to pass the guard. Dormmamu looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Dormmamu takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Chaos stands up and waves to Dormmamu to follow him. Chaos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dormmamu's waist but Dormmamu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chaos off to one side. Chaos looking to score a takedown here. Dormmamu is defending well but Chaos drives through and ends up in Dormmamu's guard. Chaos advances position into side control! Chaos thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chaos moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Dormmamu wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Dormmamu is trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Chaos has knee on belly and moves into mount. Chaos with a couple of short strikes. Chaos working away from the top, dropping strikes. Chaos controlling the pace for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dormmamu is in a horrible position here. Chaos smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Robert Chaos showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chaos , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
