Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shazaam McDaniels (ranked 3581 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yowis Ben (ranked 5716 p4p, 173 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yowis Ben!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Ben Hemmingworth and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDaniels throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ben throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. McDaniels tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ben is in McDaniels's guard.
McDaniels is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ben is controlling him.
Ben missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Ben trying to control but McDaniels is working from the bottom.
Ben trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
McDaniels wants to stand but Ben is controlling the position.
McDaniels keeping moving, preventing Ben from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ben cracks McDaniels with a solid left hand.

Ben stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McDaniels swivels though and keeps the full guard.

McDaniels wants to stand and escape but Ben is having none of it.
Ben throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McDaniels works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
McDaniels wants to get back to his feet but Ben is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ben postures up and lands a big shot to McDaniels's brow.
Ben with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ben wants to control from the top but McDaniels keeps moving.
Ben throwing strikes from guard but McDaniels blocks nicely.

McDaniels wants to stand but Ben is controlling the position.
McDaniels working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ben.
Ben won't allow McDaniels to get back to his feet.

Ben keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of McDaniels's head.
Ben pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McDaniels is keeping the position for now.
Ben throwing strikes but missing.
McDaniels wants to stand but Ben is controlling the position.
McDaniels uses the cage to get back to his feet.
McDaniels misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ben shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McDaniels but McDaniels pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McDaniels drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ben sprawls and moves away.
Ben drops his hands momentarily and McDaniels takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
McDaniels misses with a two punch combination.
McDaniels lands a leg kick that knocks Ben off balance momentarily.
McDaniels goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
McDaniels lands with a big left! Ben is wobbled badly! McDaniels comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Ben to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Shazaam McDaniels!
