Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Desmond Glass (ranked 622 p4p, 86 weight class) and Marvin Vettori (ranked 909 p4p, 125 weight class). Glass comes to the ring accompanied by Across 110th Street by Bobby Womack. Vettori has chosen Police On My Back- The Rocketz as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vettori on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Glass. Glass obviously looking to wear him down.
Glass walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Desmond Glass has been cut.
Glass throws a poor cross that misses
and Vettori counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Glass throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vettori sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Vettori on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Desmond Glass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vettori throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

A little feinted left hand from Glass on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Glass throws a leg kick which misses Vettori's front leg but catches the back leg as Vettori tries to avoid it.
Vettori throws the kick towards the body but Glass avoids it.
Glass throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

A nice inside leg kick there by Glass. That's going to slow Vettori down.
Glass misses with a straight left.

Glass takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Glass misses with a looping left.
Glass lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Glass drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Desmond Glass's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Vettori lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Glass is rocked!
Glass lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Oh Glass is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vettori tries to land a leg kick but Glass saw it coming and moves away.
Glass seems to have got his legs back now.
Vettori on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vettori, as that shot connected.

Desmond Glass is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Glass lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Vettori backs up against the ropes.
Glass throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vettori misses with an uppercut.
Glass is looking for a counter combo.
Vettori feints a jab promting Glass to slip. Vettori then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Glass slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Vettori cracks Glass with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Vettori has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Glass to stand back up!

Jeez, Desmond Glass's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Glass throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
It seemed like Vettori was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Vettori's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Glass connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vettori scrambles back to his feet.
Glass throws a leg kick but Vettori moved away.
Vettori unleashes a big counter combination but Glass bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Vettori misses with a two punch combination.
Vettori will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Glass went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Glass lands a nice leg kick that just misses Vettori's sensitive parts.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A relieved looking Marvin Vettori thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Desmond Glass spoke after the fight, saying 'I have to get with my coaches and manager, and rethink my gameplan going forward. I'll be back.'.
