Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Golden Sage Lll (ranked 3055 p4p, 287 weight class) and Jan Hradek (ranked 3426 p4p, 319 weight class). Sage Lll kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Welcome to the jungle. Golden Sage Lll has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Golden Sage Lll!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jan Hradek!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hradek drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sage Lll is wriggling around but Hradek manages to pass to half guard.
Sage Lll has a hand on Hradek's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Hradek takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Hradek is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sage Lll to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sage Lll shrugs it off.
We've been hearing good reports from Sage Lll's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Hradek trying to control but he's not successful this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sage Lll tries to hold on but Hradek pushes him away.
Hradek looking to secure an arm triangle but Sage Lll defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hradek swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Sage Lll is now in Hradek's guard. A big mistake from Hradek there, giving up the dominant position!
Sage Lll throws a sloppy strike and Hradek has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Sage Lll is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Hradek!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jan Hradek! Jan Hradek retains his heavyweight title!
Golden Sage Lll was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll come back better and ready to strangle the rest of the division into there Graves'.
