Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Steven or perhaps it was just good defense by Marco which made him look bad.

Johan Marco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Even Steven.
Steven shoots in looking for a takedown. Marco tries to sprawl out of it but Steven keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marco manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Steven fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Marco stands and throws Steven's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Marco is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Steven has escaped the position, nice work there.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Marco lands a nice short elbow.

Marco has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Marco is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Steven is just riding it out for now. Marco eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marco moves nicely into side control.

Marco is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Steven looks calm but he's in trouble here. Marco gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Steven is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Marco lets go of the hold and Steven can pop his arm back in it's socket.
