Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Steven Kennedy (ranked 2648 p4p, 311 weight class) and Wutang Lee (ranked 2489 p4p, 295 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wutang Lee!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Lee scores with a four punch combination!
A left lands for Lee.
Kennedy misses with a kick to the body.
A little jabbing left from Lee on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lee moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kennedy pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lee is out of range and Kennedy settles back down.

Lee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kennedy throws out the jab.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've been informed that Lee has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Kennedy looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Lee walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kennedy checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Kennedy rushes Lee and presses him up against the ropes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kennedy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lee takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kennedy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lee lands with a thumping leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lee. That's going to slow Kennedy down.
Lee scores with the left hand. Kennedy knows he should have avoided that one.
Wutang Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kennedy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lee swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Kennedy cracks Lee with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Kennedy clobbers Lee with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lee fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kennedy is out of range.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

Lee has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Kennedy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Lee sizes up Kennedy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Lee moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Some bone on bone action there as Lee checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Lee is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Kennedy doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Lee crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Lee's bad books for that mishap!
