Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Jones (ranked 3572 p4p, 378 weight class) and Dillon Van Barle (ranked 3353 p4p, 363 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dillon Van Barle!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Bruno Lombardi and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Jones.
Van Barle looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jones throws a body punch but Van Barle moves out of range.
Jones misses with a hook.
Van Barle replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Jones blocks it well.
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Van Barle.
A clash of legs there as Jones blocks the low kick.
Van Barle throws a jab but it's blocked by Jones.
Van Barle lands a jab.
Jones on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Van Barle lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jones's sensitive parts.
Van Barle throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.
A shot to the body from Jones misses
and Van Barle counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Steven Jones has been cut.
Van Barle scores with a hook to the body. Jones takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Van Barle.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jones takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Van Barle throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.
Van Barle misses with a jab to the body
and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jones gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Van Barle slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Jones is rocked!

Jones stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Van Barle.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones swings away with a body shot that misses
and Van Barle counters with a huge right that knocks Jones out cold! Van Barle is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
