The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Andersen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Andersen scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Andersen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roininen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Andersen on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Erik Andersen just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Roininen tries to clinch up.
Andersen blocks a head kick by Roininen.

Andersen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Roininen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Roininen is breathing heavily.
Andersen gets to mount! Roininen was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Roininen is trying to reverse the position but instead Andersen has taken his back - oops!

Andersen somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
