Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Number (ranked 922 p4p, 123 weight class) and Kure Takenao (ranked 3844 p4p, 410 weight class). Number's entrance music is This is A Film - Iggy Pop (Goran Bregovič). A fine choice. Jack Number had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Jack Number has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Kure Takenao! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Number throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Number rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Takenao moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Number misses with a double jab
and Takenao counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Number is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Takenao pulls his head out easily. Number is trying to get back to full guard. Number knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Takenao on the ground. Takenao is keen to just control but Number is a slippery customer. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
