Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
luiz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. luiz showed some decent athleticism there.
luiz wants to pass to mount but Krunkelstein is defending the position.
luiz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
luiz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krunkelstein. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
luiz is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Krunkelstein!
luiz postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Krunkelstein looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, luiz cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Krunkelstein takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Krunkelstein is trying to stand up.
luiz has control of Krunkelstein's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Krunkelstein regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Krunkelstein is working to get back to half guard.

luiz working for a submission but Krunkelstein is keeping him at bay.
Krunkelstein is looking to improve his position but luiz isn't that keen on the idea.

Krunkelstein manages to reverse the position and now he's in luiz's guard. Nice work there by Krunkelstein.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
