Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Santosh Nagasaki (ranked 356 p4p, 23 weight class) and Wayne Williams (ranked 484 p4p, 28 weight class). Nagasaki's entrance music is Execute Plan: Nuclear Tortoise. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Santosh Nagasaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wayne Williams! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nagasaki stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A left lands for Williams. Nagasaki gets a takedown into half guard. Nagasaki lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Williams has hold of Nagasaki's hands but Nagasaki slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Williams actively working from the bottom here. Nagasaki slips a nice elbow through Williams's hands, connecting with Williams's forehead. Nagasaki scoring with strikes to the body and head. Williams looking for submissions off his back. Nagasaki looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Williams with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nagasaki postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Williams looks a forlorn figure.

Nagasaki looks up at the clock and then as Williams takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Nagasaki smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Williams throws Nagasaki to one side and escapes! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nagasaki takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Nagasaki looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Wayne Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Williams misses with a wild body shot. Nagasaki thuds a left hand into Williams's body. Nagasaki connects with a body shot that sends Williams's belly button to the back. Williams misses with a straight right. Williams moves out of range of the strikes. Williams blocks a low kick nicely. Williams checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Williams looks like he wants to counter punch here. Nagasaki throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Williams was covering up waiting for the punch and Nagasaki finishes the takedown easily into guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Nagasaki's corner. There ya go! There ya go! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
