Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jon Nix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller has chosen Mama said Knock You Out as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Nix!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luiz Miller!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nix fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nix really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nix throws a head kick that misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Nix.
Jon Nix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Miller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Nix tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Nix is looking for a sweep. Miller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Miller is working Nix over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That's time! Nix's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Miller drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Miller jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Miller doesn't manage to clinch there - Nix circles away.
Miller shoots in for a double leg but Nix sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jon Nix will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
