Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Detkhunjon Sitsongrit (ranked 669 p4p, 38 weight class) and Anthon Van Der Dusse (ranked 729 p4p, 40 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Detkhunjon Sitsongrit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Anthon Van Der Dusse!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Der Dusse tries to keep at a distance but Sitsongrit has taken the fight into the clinch.
Van Der Dusse's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Sitsongrit lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Van Der Dusse has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sitsongrit avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Van Der Dusse gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Sitsongrit manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Van Der Dusse is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sitsongrit pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Sitsongrit misses with a punch to the body.
Van Der Dusse tightens his grip and picks Sitsongrit up, before dumping him to the ground. Sitsongrit manages to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sitsongrit scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Sitsongrit catches Van Der Dusse with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Detkhunjon Sitsongrit is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sitsongrit looks to throw the jab but Van Der Dusse is out of range.
Van Der Dusse throws a nice looking combination but Sitsongrit bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sitsongrit throws a body punch but Van Der Dusse moves out of range.
Sitsongrit seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Van Der Dusse goes for a double leg but Sitsongrit avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sitsongrit continues to drive forward.
Detkhunjon Sitsongrit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthon Van Der Dusse.
Van Der Dusse slips under a jab.
Sitsongrit misses with a head kick.
Sitsongrit is looking to slow Van Der Dusse down with leg kicks.
Sitsongrit connects with a good right hand that stumbles Van Der Dusse. Van Der Dusse circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Nice takedown defense from Sitsongrit. No joy for Van Der Dusse on that attempt.
It looked like Sitsongrit wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Van Der Dusse changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sitsongrit tries to avoid it but Van Der Dusse manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sitsongrit to the ground. Sitsongrit escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Van Der Dusse shoots in for a takedown but Sitsongrit shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sitsongrit scores with a hook.
Sitsongrit throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Van Der Dusse.
Van Der Dusse is rocked!
Sitsongrit cracks Van Der Dusse with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Van Der Dusse tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sitsongrit pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Van Der Dusse is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Detkhunjon Sitsongrit!
