Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Rico (ranked 2524 p4p, 292 weight class) and Rob Goblin (ranked 3285 p4p, 371 weight class). Rob Goblin struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. King Rico had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goblin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rico paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rob Goblin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rico moves into range and clinches up with Goblin.
Goblin trying to control the position but instead, Rico has worked for underhooks and has pushed Goblin into the cage.
Rico lands with a light punch inside.
Goblin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Goblin is trying to pull guard but Rico has him pressed against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rico lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Rico lands a right hand that snaps the head of Goblin backwards.

Rico lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Rico digs a right hand into Goblin's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Goblin's gas tank.
Rico scores with a shoulder strike.
Rico creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Goblin with a big uppercut! Goblin tries to clinch up but Rico pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Goblin to the mat! Goblin covers up and Rico unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). King Rico!
