Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mere Horne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Don Coleman! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horne will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Horne shoots in but Coleman avoids the takedown attempt easily. Coleman darts in and clinches Horne up against the cage. Coleman lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Mere Horne has been cut. Horne really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Coleman will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Horne up against the cage. Coleman looks to throw an elbow but misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horne is working for takedown but Coleman is calmly controlling the position for now. Coleman lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Horne tries for a takedown but Coleman manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mere Horne. That's going to take a lot out of him. Coleman lands an elbow inside. Coleman prevents a takedown attempt there.

That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman lands an elbow inside. Coleman is working the Thai clinch up against the cage. He yanks Horne's head to one side and delivers a picture perfect knee, right on the button! Boom! Down goes Horne! He's out! He's out! The fight is over, just like that!
