Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paulie Wahlburg!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Anjos circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wahlburg doesn't manage to clinch there - Dos Anjos circles away.
Wahlburg is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wahlburg tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dos Anjos swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dos Anjos can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wahlburg is looking to escape.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dos Anjos looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Dos Anjos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Wahlburg has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dos Anjos is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Wahlburg.
