Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roland Jerverup! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oskar Forsberg! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jerverup circles away from the clinch attempt.
Forsberg avoids a kick to the body.
Jerverup tries to clinch but Forsberg moves away and Forsberg counters by moving into the clinch. Jerverup is trying to drag Forsberg to the mat but Forsberg just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Forsberg swings wildly with an uppercut but Jerverup uses good head movement to avoid it. Jerverup changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Forsberg fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jerverup looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jerverup missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Jerverup with the ground and pound but Forsberg uses the opportunity to regain guard. Forsberg has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jerverup can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jerverup trying to control the position.

Jerverup tries to get to full guard but Forsberg has control of the leg. Jerverup is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Forsberg pulls his head out easily. Jerverup is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jerverup is looking to escape. Jerverup on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jerverup tries to get out of the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Forsberg wants to clinch. Forsberg pushes Jerverup up against the cage in a clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Forsberg stops a takedown attempt from Jerverup.

Jerverup looks to land a body kick but Forsberg moved away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oskar Forsberg dominated that round. That's time! Jerverup's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Forsberg counters by moving into the clinch. Forsberg changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jerverup fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Forsberg wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jerverup looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Forsberg is fending him off so far but Jerverup persists. Nope, Forsberg circles away and we're back to standing. Roland Jerverup is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. No luck for Forsberg with that takedown attempt.

It looks like Roland Jerverup has been cut. Forsberg tries to clinch up but Jerverup circles away and keeps his distance. Forsberg avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jerverup decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jerverup with the ground and pound but Forsberg uses the opportunity to regain guard. Jerverup trying to control but Forsberg is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jerverup wants to stand but Forsberg is controlling his posture from full guard. Forsberg is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jerverup wants to stand and escape but instead Forsberg has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Forsberg stopping the sweep attempt from Jerverup. Forsberg is standing up over Jerverup. Jerverup looks to escape but Forsberg dives into side control.
Forsberg is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jerverup's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Forsberg tries to move to mount but Jerverup blocks the move with his legs. Jerverup trying to control but Forsberg flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Forsberg keeps control of the position as Jerverup tries to break free.
Jerverup trying to get back to his feet but Forsberg is in full control for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Oskar Forsberg will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Roland Jerverup's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Jerverup closes this distance looking for a takedown but Forsberg circles away. Jerverup misses with a combination
and Forsberg counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Forsberg wants to clinch up but Jerverup keeps it at a distance. Jerverup misses with a takedown attempt - Forsberg sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jerverup throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Forsberg counters with a lovely straight right hand! Forsberg shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Forsberg was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jerverup is trying to stand but he's just given Forsberg his back. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Forsberg has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Jerverup is trying to break free.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jerverup has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Jerverup tries to roll but Forsberg sticks to his back.
