Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tournament Clown (ranked 4712 p4p, 0 weight class) and Young Chow (ranked 4640 p4p, 222 weight class). The key to victory for Tournament Clown has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tournament Clown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Young Chow! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clown tries to keep at a distance but Chow has taken the fight into the clinch. Chow is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Clown can't fight it off and eventually Chow manages to take the fight to the floor. Clown looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Chow stands up and waves to Clown to follow him. Chow scores with a takedown into Clown's guard. Chow is looking to pass into half guard but Clown pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Clown is in guard. Clown trying to control the position from guard on top but Chow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chow wants to sweep but no luck. Chow looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chow had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Clown defends it easily. Chow working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Clown has passed into half guard!
Chow slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Clown wants to stand and escape but instead Chow has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Clown keeping moving, preventing Chow from controlling successfully. Chow stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chow with a poor takedown and Clown counters with a lovely shot to the body. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Chow is defended easily by Clown. Clown swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Chow slips under a jab. Chow shoots in but no luck this time. Tournament Clown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Young Chow. Chow fails with the takedown enabling Clown to counter with a crisp jab. Chow shoots in for a double leg but Clown sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Chow throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Clown's waist but Clown gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chow off to one side. Chow moves into range and clinches up with Clown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clown is trying to break the clinch but Chow is controlling him. Chow goes for a takedown in the clinch but Clown prevents it.
Chow looks winded! Chow prevents Clown from breaking the clinch. Chow is trying to drag Clown to the mat but Clown just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Clown wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Chow has him pressed against the cage. Clown looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Chow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chow shoots and misses letting Clown counter with a right hand. Chow tries for a takedown but Clown circles away easily and Clown counters with a nice uppercut. Decent striking displayed by Clown there. A jab from Clown misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chow manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Clown on his heels. He'll look to pass Clown's guard now, I'm sure. Chow throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Chow trying to control the position from guard on top but Clown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Clown trying to keep a closed guard but Chow is proving a slippery customer.
Chow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Clown swivels though and keeps the full guard. Clown working a defensive guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tournament Clown will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Chow looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Clown is looking to control Chow's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Clown avoid being mounted? Chow is stalling here. Clown is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Chow seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Clown has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Chow is trying to improve his position. Chow regains half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chow trying to control but Clown postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Clown stopping the sweep attempt from Chow. Clown wants to control from the top but Chow keeps moving. Chow looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Chow throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Chow looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chow is looking to stand back up but Clown counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Chow. Chow has a hand on Clown's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Clown takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chow is squirming around, avoiding Clown's attempts to control the action. Chow tries to get back to half guard but can't. Clown tries to control but Chow wriggling away. Clown controlling from the full mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Chow really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Clown looking to control but Chow is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Young Chow has got the better of the ground game so far. Chow is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tournament Clown dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Chow steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Clown. Chow bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Chow goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Clown has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Chow but great work by Clown. Chow is looking for a sweep. Chow sneaks back into half guard. Clown prevents Chow from improving his position. Chow is trying to maintain the position but Clown is very close to passing his half guard. Chow makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Chow. Chow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chow wants to control the position but Clown says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Chow looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chow wants to get back to full guard. Chow takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Still in half guard, Clown seems content to control. Chow wants to sweep but Clown has passed to side control! Chow sneaks back into half guard. Chow tries to get to full guard but Clown has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chow tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Clown has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Chow manages to regain half guard. Good work. Clown is trying to control. Chow wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Chow trying to control but Clown postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Clown wants to free his trapped foot but Chow is holding on for dear life with his legs. Chow wants to get back to full guard. Chow is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Clown's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Clown's back! Chow goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Clown escapes and is now in half guard on top. Chow is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Clown tries to pass the half guard into mount. Chow knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chow wants to improve his position but Clown is controlling well.
Chow wants to sweep but Clown has passed to side control! Chow is not content to let Clown control the position. Young Chow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chow tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Clown easily slips into full mount! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Clown prevents Chow from getting the reversal.
And that's the end of the fight! Tournament Clown showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Clown, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
