Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conner Clondalkin (ranked 4622 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hernesto St Juste (ranked 4632 p4p, 441 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hernesto St Juste! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St Juste changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Clondalkin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. St Juste just content to control the position. St Juste works to advance to full mount. Clondalkin defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. St Juste scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Clondalkin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for St Juste on the ground. St Juste tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. St Juste landing strikes, looking to finish! St Juste controlling the position easily from mount. St Juste lands a couple of good shots and Clondalkin has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

It looks like St Juste might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. St Juste is continuing to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that St Juste has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. St Juste has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. St Juste is punishing Clondalkin with some ground and pound. The referee is taking a good look at Clondalkin as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from St Juste!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. St Juste wants the takedown. Clondalkin is fighting it off but St Juste persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Clondalkin's guard against the cage. St Juste feints and as Clondalkin raises his hands in defense, St Juste changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. St Juste slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
