Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Clarkson!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belkin fails with a takedown attempt.
Belkin tries to clinch up.
Belkin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Clarkson scores a takedown into full mount!
Clarkson wants to control the pace but Belkin is squirming around nicely.
Clarkson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Clarkson tries to control but Belkin wriggling away.
Clarkson lands with some strikes.
Belkin is trying to escape the mount.
Clarkson avoids the attempt from Belkin to control.
Clarkson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Belkin is desperately trying to improve his position but Clarkson has a good base and remains in mount.

Clarkson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Belkin turns into him and now he's in Clarkson's guard.
Clarkson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Belkin decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Clarkson, up you get!
Belkin pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Belkin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Clarkson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Belkin won't be happy with that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Belkin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Clarkson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Belkin is trying to get back to half guard.
Belkin is trying to control Clarkson's posture but Clarkson avoids it.

Clarkson has hold of Belkin's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Belkin seems comfortable defending it but Clarkson has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Belkin is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Belkin is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Clarkson couldn't care less - he's delighted!
