Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Vidal (ranked 1303 p4p, 178 weight class) and Darko Milicic (ranked 1531 p4p, 200 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vidal might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Scarface OST - The world is yours. Milicic comes into a darkened arena with his song building. THCF - GDE SI POŠ'O kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milicic fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Vidal lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Vidal seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Milicic can do anything to dispel that myth.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vidal accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Vidal postures up in Milicic's guard and throws a big left but Milicic blocks it.

Vidal drops back looking for a leg! Milicic is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Milicic manages to kick Vidal off! Vidal jumps back into Milicic's guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Vidal is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Milicic is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Milicic has escaped and now he's on top!

Vidal has his foot on Milicic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Milicic works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Jorge Vidal will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

A jab-cross combination lands for Vidal and sends Milicic crashing to the mat! Vidal follows him down to the mat - Milicic regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Darko Milicic has been cut.
Milicic felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
