Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Slash Slingin (ranked 964 p4p, 129 weight class) and Dyami Yazzie (ranked 1218 p4p, 165 weight class). Slingin comes to the cage accompanied by Drop The World. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yazzie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Slingin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Slingin has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Yazzie.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Slingin is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Yazzie fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Slingin is out of range.

Yazzie jumps guard but Slingin stands there with Yazzie around his waist. Yazzie gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Slingin goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Slingin is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Yazzie to keep the fight standing.

Yazzie feints and then cracks Slingin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Slingin down.
Yazzie defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Slingin.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Slash Slingin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yazzie lets loose with a powerful body kick. Slingin will feel that in the morning.
Slash Slingin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Good leg kick by Yazzie there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Slingin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Yazzie. Yazzie obviously looking to wear him down.
Slingin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Yazzie looks to land a left hand but Slingin moved out of range nicely.

Slingin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
