Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Agostin Carrilo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Motts! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Motts digs a good body shot into Carrilo's ribs. Jeremy Motts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Motts gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Jeremy Motts has been cut. Motts wants to clinch but Carrilo slips to the side enabling Carrilo to counter with a crisp jab. Carrilo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Motts throws out a powerful jab. Motts has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Good standup being displayed there by Motts as he connects with a hook. Motts misses with a jab to the body
and Carrilo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A slow jab from Carrilo misses its intended target. It seemed like Motts was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Carrilo digs a good hook to Motts's body.
This has been an exciting period of action! Carrilo takes a shot right to the bread basket. Carrilo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Motts lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Carrilo at a distance.
Motts scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Motts throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's one minute gone in the round. Motts lands with a right hand. Motts lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Motts lands a really nice looking cross but Carrilo seems unphased.
Carrilo avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Carrilo avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Motts throws a body shot but no joy. Carrilo was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Carrilo on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Carrilo is rocked! Motts ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Oh Carrilo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Motts drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Carrilo right on the button. Carrilo goes down! Motts follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Motts gets the win via TKO!
